Mount Sinai Beth Israel MRI and Renovations at the Phillips Ambulatory Care Center (PACC)

Located in the heart of Union Square, NYC, the Mount Sinai MRI PACC project was performed in an occupied, operating radiology suite within the Mt. Sinai hospital. The challenge of executing the work in an occupied space was overcome by rigging the MRI Unit through an exterior wall and required the removal and modifications to existing conditions within the new MRI Unit. Much of the work was completed off-hours to not interfere with patient/staff operations. The new construction also consisted of major floor structural enhancements, upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems, furnishings, locker relocations and new interior finishes.
