Calpurnia Capital

This high-end corporate interior renovation required custom detailing and fabrication of furniture and glass. The project incorporated experimental materials, including Lumasite panels, honeycomb glass walls and doors, shop built aluminum and glass furnishings and alternate flooring materials. New mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were also installed.

B.R. Fries was required to resolve all issues related to the structural details of fabricating the luminous glass walls and sliding door panels and tucking in and hiding all wiring and piping. In addition, the custom sliding glass wall track was required to be hidden within the ceiling.

The conference table also was fabricated as a honeycomb and glass “sandwich” topped with an acrylic sheet to give it a luminous glow. All cabinets are custom fabricated from Apple-ply and Forbo laminate.
