Century 21 Department Store (Flagship)

Over the years, B.R. Fries has completed many high-end store construction projects for Century 21 Department Store. At their flagship store in downtown Manhattan, we completed numerous highly complicated renovation projects all while the store remained occupied, and all under the watchful eye of the corporate executives.

We renovated the 4th floor housing the Men’s Suit and “By Appointment Only” Departments. The project included sophisticated millwork and breaking through to the 3rd floor to install a monumental connecting staircase. We also installed a new grand staircase and railings with intricate details that complement the existing ornamental ironwork. Stone details throughout the new second floor level match existing marble walls and floors. To achieve the aggressive schedule, B.R. Fries worked closely with the store’s structural engineer to design/build the structural components on a fast-track basis.
