B.R. Fries completed the construction of a new 28,000-square-foot Target urban small-format store located within an existing office tower in the heart of the bustling Long Island City corridor.

This project required precise coordination to transform the high-traffic commercial space into a fully branded Target retail environment. The fitout featured Target’s signature contemporary design elements, including exposed concrete ceilings and polished concrete floors, reflecting the company’s modern urban aesthetic. The store included a modified service grocery department.

Working within an active mixed-use property, B.R. Fries managed all aspects of construction, logistics, and scheduling to ensure minimal disruption to surrounding tenants and neighborhood. The result is a sleek, efficient retail space that exemplifies Target’s growing presence in New York City’s dynamic urban markets.
