NYU Lutheran Information Technology Training Center at Industry City

B.R. Fries served as Construction Manager for the NYU Lutheran Information Technology Training Center at Industry City, a 70,000-square-foot, three-floor facility designed to support one of the region’s most advanced healthcare technology training programs.

The EPIC Training Center features fifteen high-tech training rooms, modern offices, dedicated support spaces, IT storage areas, and rooftop mechanical equipment. Built to accommodate the complex infrastructure of NYU Langone Health’s electronic medical record (EMR) systems, the project required precise coordination of electrical, data, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and flexibility.

Through careful planning, phased construction, and close collaboration with the owner’s representatives, architects, and engineers, B.R. Fries delivered a state-of-the-art training environment that supports healthcare innovation, staff development, and technology integration—on time and within budget.
